About Msaligned Creative

Inspired by her first burn in 2025, Maja felt called to return to the hands‑on creativity that shaped her early architectural build projects at university.

Driven by curiosity, imperfection, and the belief that meaningful growth comes from navigating what feels unfamiliar, Maja and her crew are excited to be bringing 'Headwaters' to the playa for the 2026 Burning Man, Axis Mundi.

Headwaters is a 36-foot diameter walking labyrinth, meant to create a quite moment of introspection amid the dust.

Our project is possible thanks to the Burning Man Foundation, as 'Headwaters' is a 2026 Honoraria Recipient.
